Each company has different design concepts. Almost every customer asks whether the products can be customized, including those with customized fragrances and packaging. These customizations can be customized in our factory, but not all customized designs are free of charge.
For example, recently I met a customer who sent a soap document. I clicked on it and saw the design draft of a cold soap, which seemed very common. After a closer look, I found that the customer wanted 12 types of Constellation series of cold soap, and each soap had two different seals, which meant that the mold needed to be opened.
12 Types of soap, there are 24 different seals in total, that is to say, 24 seal molds need to be opened, which is a large mold opening fee. When I asked about the factory mold opening fee, I proposed 3 plans for customers to choose from,
1) finished products made according to your customization requirements.
2) according to the color/taste you want to customize, only look at the sample, no seal.
3) We will send you the existing samples for your reference.
Finally, communicate and negotiate with the customer. We will arrange a sample first, but the customer needs to pay the mold opening fee and the sample fee of two seals (according to the information you provide, there are two seals in a soap).
As mentioned above, we can provide ordinary customization for free. However, for special products that require mold opening, customers need to pay the mold opening fee. In the case of more styles, 1-2 samples can be arranged in the early stage to see the effect, to avoid wasting unnecessary mold opening fees.
